Did you write STAR, and every example still starts with I am responsible for?
Does the selection criteria still read like the duty statement they already have?
Can a panel mark a real week of work, or only a job description with your name on it?
That’s the pain
This happens a lot in public service jobs and government jobs. You know STAR. Situation, Task, Action, Result. Then the first line is still “I am responsible for…”. That is a duty. It is not a week a panel can mark.
A panel is not marking whether you listed the right heading. They want to see what you actually did in that week, not the position description copied into STAR boxes.
A score will not fix it
A free ATS score will not write selection criteria. It will not turn “I am responsible for” into a week of work.
If you want the score, use the free ATS score.
How we fix it
Send the ad and the STAR draft you have. We write the week you held. Responsible for can stay on the duty line. The example has to show the work.
That is human work. If you want a person on it, send it for a free résumé review. Pricing is there if you already know you need the writing done. The selection criteria page is that work.
